Landlord Clients’ Questions Answered at ‘Renters Rights Revealed’ Event
Myddelton & Major’s Residential Lettings & Management department and Wilsons Solicitors LLP hosted a joint event on Thursday 25th September to help our clients understand the Renters Rights Bill, which is expected to receive Royal Assent this autumn and take effect from Spring 2026. The event, which was held at Wilsons’ offices at Alexandra House, was attended by over 60 clients and contacts. The speakers, Mike Ellis & Peter Bourke from Wilsons and Alastair Brain from Myddelton & Major, clarified the new changes, explained what they mean for the private rental sector, and provided practical insights into how landlords need to prepare for this significant change in legislation. The presentation prompted many searching questions and discussion over drinks and canapes afterwards. It was an extremely successful and rewarding event for all who attended, with our landlord clients leaving at the end with many questions answered and knowing that they will be fully supported through the changes.
