Prime spot for innovative company

A manufacturer of sanitisation and skincare products has taken space on Somerset’s premier business estate.

Chippenham-based Primeshield Innovations Ltd has agreed a six-year lease on Unit R23 at Commerce Park, Frome.

Property consultancy Myddelton & Major successfully negotiated the deal for the 1,947 sq ft (180.84 sq m) industrial/warehouse for which the quoting rent was £10,500 per annum.

Myddelton & Major Commercial Agency Surveyor Gary Mead said: “PrimeShield has been manufacturing sanitisation and skincare solutions for the UK market and internationally since 2006 and needed more space.

“We were delighted to help facilitate the acquisition of this unit for the company, founded by innovator James Parsons, which provides organic solutions without the use of petroleum, solvents, alcohols and any type of animal bi-products.

“Commerce Park is now well established and continues to go from strength to strength by providing modern, purpose-built units for businesses of all sizes in a strategically-sited location.”

Commerce Park is midway between the M4, M5 and A303 corridors close to the junction of the A36 and A361.  It is approximately 14 miles south of Bath and 13 miles from the A303 and is situated on the A361 (Frome by-pass), approximately 2 miles south of the A36/A361 junction.

The 64-acre park – north east of Frome town centre – has proved hugely popular as the demand for high-quality industrial space regionally from new and expanding companies continues to grow.

Frome is on the Somerset/Wiltshire border with excellent road and rail access to major networks. The M4 is accessed via the A36 and Frome station offers direct mainline services. Bristol Airport is approximately 30 miles away.
