Transport training firm drives to new base

A company which offers a wide variety of driver training has taken space on a popular Somerset business park with excellent transport links.

LGS Transport Training has agreed a five-year lease on Unit E3, Southgate, Commerce Park, Frome in a deal brokered by property consultancy Myddelton & Major.

Quoting rent for the 3,495 sq ft (324.63 sq m) industrial/warehouse unit was £24,500 per annum.

Myddelton & Major Partner Philip Holford said: “The growing popularity of Commerce Park continues unabated and this unit, available only because of a relocation, was snapped up very quickly.

 “I was pleased to be able to facilitate LGS Transport Training’s move to a new base. The company offers car, LGV, HGV and PCV driver training across Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset – as well as a great deal more including Driver CPC and all types of Forklift and Manual Handling Training.

“The long-established company has long delivered quality driver training to the transport industry across the board and is well regarded, with its courses underpinned by extensive practical experience and it is registered with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency.”

The 64-acre Commerce Park is now a well-established and popular location for small to large scale occupiers. It is conveniently located fronting the A361 Frome bypass to the north east of the town centre.”

Frome is situated in a strategic location on the Somerset/Wiltshire border with excellent road and rail access to major networks – it is midway between the M4, M5 and A303 corridors, close to the junction of the A36 and A361.

Frome station offers direct mainline rail services and Bristol Airport is approximately 30 miles away.
