Sign of the times at industrial estate
An industrial unit in Andover is now home to a manufacturer of all kinds of signs for businesses.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the letting of the mid-terrace warehouse at Queensway, Walworth Industrial Estate, on a new five-year lease at a quoting rent of £15,250 per annum.
Myddelton & Major Partner Dean Speer said: “The new tenant of the unit is DWA Group, which specialises in the design and creation of Pavement signs, Roller Banners, Pop up displays, Easels and all manner of displays and signage for retail, hospitality, exhibitions and trade shows.
“DWA was founded in 2006 and since then has grown steadily to become one of the leading manufacturers in the sign and display industry. Production is carried out in-house on specialist equipment using the latest technology.”
The newly let unit has a 1966 sq ft (182.65sq m) workshop as well as ground and first floor offices, and there is also car parking and a loading area and an electric sliding shutter loading door.
The Walworth Industrial Estate lies on the eastern outskirts of Andover, next to the Ring Road which leads onto the A303 dual carriageway.
Well-known companies located in the Andover area include Britax Excelsior, Lloyds TSB Life and Pension Investments, Londis, Stannah Lifts and Twinings.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2018 for the seventh year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
