Flora has designs on character refurbishment
A character office unit at a high quality development of refurbished period farm buildings on the Dorset/Wiltshire border has been snapped up by the interior designer Flora Soames.
Unit 3 at Chaldicott Barns, Semley, has been let on a six-year lease to Flora Soames in a deal brokered by property consultancy Myddelton & Major.
Family-run Chaldicott Barns’ secure offices and warehouses are set within 40 acres of scenic natural woodland in Tokes Lane, Semley.

Unit 3 is a unique staddlestone barn of timber frame construction with a pitched slate roof. The interior is open to the eaves and the oak frame is exposed to view.
Chaldicott Barns’ buildings are made of local stone with slate roofs and are arranged around a central courtyard. The development is landscaped to a high standard and there is on-site car parking allocated to each unit.
Semley is approximately three miles to the north of Shaftesbury and Chaldicott Barns are less than half a mile from the A350.
Shaftesbury is at the heart of the Blackmore Vale and serves a wide catchment area with increasing residential and commercial expansion.
