Print firm secures Beacon unit
A prime industrial/warehouse unit on a new development at one of Wiltshire’s most popular and convenient business parks has been snapped up by a company working the print, prop and interior design field.
The end-terrace Unit 207, Beacon Centre on Amesbury’s Solstice Park has been acquired by Vizual Koncept Ltd in a deal brokered by property consultancy Myddelton & Major.
Quoting rent for the 3,159 sq ft (293.54 sq m) unit in Solar Way was £19,950 and Vizual Koncept has agreed a new five-year lease terms.
Myddelton & Major Surveyor Gary Mead said: “This is another example of how the demand from small to medium businesses for the Beacon Centre continues to grow.
“It is so perfectly located – situated at Solstice Park, the new 160-acre mixed use business park – with direct access to the A303 dual carriageway at Amesbury.
“It occupies a prime location at the gateway to both Solstice Park and the 20 acre industrial/distribution zone.
“We felt that there would be strong interest in Unit 207, which is fitted out to a high standard, and considered it would be ideal for a variety of uses.”
The Beacon Centre comprises 15 industrial and warehouse/trade counter units and three detached office/research and development buildings.
Solstice Park’s other major occupiers include Home Bargains, Muller Wiseman Dairies and Tintometer.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2019 for the eighth year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
