Lovell building on new base
An industrial/warehouse unit with offices on a business development at one of Wiltshire’s most popular and convenient business parks has been let.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the letting of Unit 204 at the Beacon Centre on Amesbury’s Solstice Park to Lovell Partnerships Ltd.
Quoting rent for the 2,684 sq ft (249.35 sq m) end terrace unit in Solar Way was for £19,500 per annum and the tenant has agreed a four-year lease.
Myddelton & Major Partner Dean Spear said: “Long established Lovell Partnerships Ltd is part of the Morgan Sindall Group, a leading UK construction and regeneration group.
“Lovell build, refurbish, regenerate and maintain homes and communities across the UK, becoming the nation’s complete housing business, working with partners to provide a wholly comprehensive service.
“Best known for work in the affordable and social housing field, Lovell was seeking a Wiltshire operations base while it continues to work in partnership with the DIO and MOD across Salisbury Plain, delivering Service Family Accommodation as part of the Army Basing Programme. I was delighted to help facilitate this opportunity at the Beacon Centre development of 15 industrial/warehouse units with research and development and office facilities.”
The giant 160-acre Solstice Park is both popular and convenient – it has direct access to the A303 trunk road through its own junctions on the busy dual carriageway.
Established in 2005, the park is the gateway to the South West via the A303/M5, is between London and Bristol and has fast access to the ports of Southampton, Portsmouth and Bristol.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2019 for the eighth year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
