Media firm snaps up new unit
A newly built industrial unit in Blandford has been let to a media business in a deal brokered by property consultancy Myddelton & Major
Ingredients Media Ltd has agreed a five-year lease on the 1,355 sq ft (125.88 sq m) mid-terrace Unit 20 at Glenmore Business Park.
Myddelton & Major Surveyor Gary Mead said: “The demand for high quality, purpose-built units continues to grow – especially those on strategically-located business parks.
“We had strong interest in this newly built industrial/warehouse/trade counter unit which is built of steel, brick and block construction and has a full height up-and-over loading door and pedestrian door at the front.
“There is a WC, kitchenette and structural mezzanine floor, which we considered could be used either for storage or be converted to offices, subject to appropriate planning permission.”
Founder, Chris McArdle said “Myddelton & Major were helpful throughout the entire process of setting up our new Blandford Forum location. Thanks to the team and particularly Gary for all his help”.
Outside there is a tarmacadam forecourt providing four parking spaces and loading access.
Other nearby businesses include Lidl, Yess Electrical and Motor Parts Direct.
Glenmore Business Park is on the northern fringes of Blandford fronting onto Higher Shaftesbury Road which provides access to the A350 Blandford Bypass and the A354 Salisbury to Dorchester Road.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2018 for the seventh year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
