Bluestone unit snapped up
One of the few remaining Phase 2 units at the new Bluestone Centre on the giant Solstice Park at Amesbury has been snapped up
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the letting of Unit 16 to Training Hands (Amesbury) Ltd.
Quoting rent for the 1,485 sq ft unit was £8,750 per annum on a new six-year lease.
Myddelton & Major Associate Rachael Wythe said: “This new development has been particularly successful.
“Technical and vocational domicillary care provider Training Hands acted smartly to acquire this unit.
“That Bluestone is being built on-spec demonstrates that confidence in the regional commercial property market remains high with demand continuing to outstrip supply.
Bluestone is the first new business centre development at the strategically-located Solstice Park since the Beacon Centre in 2005 and is significant for employment prospects in Wiltshire with 131,630 people of employment age living within a 30 minute drive.
The centre is situated at Sun Rise Way, which forms part of the mixed use Solstice Park.
The development occupies an elevated position on the business park, overlooking the Solstice Park Hotel and roadside services.
Solstice Park, Amesbury, just nine miles north of Salisbury, has good links to the motorway network via the A303/M3 to London and to the north via the A34 to the M4 and M40.
Major occupiers include Home Bargains, Muller Wiseman, Greggs (to be built), Lovibond, Animal Friends and Travis Perkins (to be built).
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2017 for the sixth year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
