Healthy expansion for medical communications agency
An independent healthcare communications agency has moved into two new suites of offices in a Salisbury city centre location.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the letting of the office suites in busy Bridge Street to Makara Health on a five-year lease.
Myddelton & Major Partner Dean Speer said: “Makara Health were already tenants in the building and required more space due to expansion. We’re delighted to have facilitated their move.
“Suites 5 and 6 in Beckett House are high quality office accommodation arranged as individual suites totalling 1573 sq ft (146.13 sq m) of open plan offices on the second floor.
“There is a lift and shared WC facilities, and the building has a portico entrance and hallway.”
Makara Health provides brand (advertising), engagement (training) and communications (PR) services to the healthcare industry. Founder and Managing Director, Louise Sharp, commented
“We operate an agile working model at Makara, which means that our account handling staff are able to work from a location of their choice; be that from home, the office or a regional hub. Our high quality office-based support team in Salisbury provide the operational foundations and infrastructure required to make this happen. With its City Centre location on a London mainline route, the offices meet our needs perfectly as we continue to expand”.
Bridge Street is at the northern end of the High Street in the heart of the City. Beckett House is close to shopping and banking facilities and the 1500-space Central car park.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2018 for the seventh year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
