We understand that the search for a new rented home is not always the positive and happy experience for Tenants that it should be. However, at Myddelton & Major we strive to help all prospective Tenants who use our services to find the right home for them and their family as quickly and easily as possible.
We aim to give prospective Tenants all the necessary advice and assistance to make the process as straight-forward and relaxed as possible. This includes giving clear and proactive advice about the legal and financial aspects of renting as well as detailed knowledge of the practicalities (pros and cons) of individual properties and locations.
Finding a Property
Our marketing material is designed to provide as full a picture of the available properties as possible with full exposure on www.rightmove.co.uk, www.onthemarket.com and www.myddeltonmajor.co.uk.
Our superior quality marketing material includes professional photographs as standard, floorplans for all properties, full and intelligently written descriptions and location maps. In addition, properties are publicised in large features in the local newspaper and press releases as required.
We also have prominent window displays in our well-situated Salisbury & Andover offices.
Services to Tenants
As a small and dedicated team, we aim to be able to give personal attention to our Tenants throughout the process of securing and moving into a property, and throughout the tenancy.
We endeavour to respond promptly and efficiently to any questions or maintenance issues. We will visit the property on a regular basis, giving Tenants frequent opportunities to discuss any relevant matters in person.
Reporting Maintenance Issues
For non-urgent maintenance issues, we use FixFlo Maintenance Reporting software, to assist Tenants with accurately and efficiently reporting issues to us, allowing us to get the right contractor to attend as swiftly as possible.

In the event of an Emergency Issue at a managed property when the office is closed, Tenants are asked to refer to the ‘Emergency Out of Hours Contact’ list in the Resources section below or click here.
The appropriate contractors should be contacted directly to attend as necessary.
