Myddelton & Major chartered surveyors and estate agents was founded in 1903 in the city of Salisbury, not far away from Stockbridge, where it is still headquartered today.

The Stockbridge Myddelton & Major office at The Old Police House is not just a branch however, it is a thriving business in its own right, serving local property buyers, sellers and renters. The Stockbridge office covers the Test Valley villages as well as the surrounding villages of Andover including, St Mary Bourne, Wildhern, The Chutes, Appleshaw to name but a few.

The Managing Partner based in Salisbury is Philip Holford MRICS, well-versed in handling commercial property sales and acquisitions, lettings and management. Working with him as partners in commercial property are Dean Speer MRICS, Tim Haine MRICS, Peter Sammons MRICS and Simon Lee FRICS.

The associate in the commercial agency in Salisbury is Matthew Holmes MRICS, with commercial surveyors Gary Mead, Ed Biscoe, and Edward de Boehmler. The commercial property admin team in Salisbury is made up of Jody Williams and Deb Fox.

By Car

Stockbridge is around 90 minutes’ drive from London, 45 minutes from Southampton and 90 minutes from Bath.

From London follow the M3 west and connect to the A303 at Basingstoke. Exit to Andover and join the Winchester Road signposted Stockbridge. When you reach the village, our office is positioned half way down the high street on the left.

Parking

There is free parking on Stockbridge High street.

By Train

Winchester train station is a 15 minute drive from Stockbridge. There are fast trains from London Waterloo to Winchester in 45 minutes. Alternatively you can travel from London Waterloo to Andover in approximately 1 hour and ten minutes. Both train stations have a taxi rank. Myddelton & Major staff can collect you subject to prior warning and an appointment.

By Bus

Buses run from Andover town centre to Stockbridge. Winchester also has a good bus service from the city to Stockbridge high street. The bus stop Is next to St Peter’s Church which is positioned on the high street. Our office is within a five minutes walks from the bus stop.
