Quest for new tenants
The former Quest premises on the outskirts of Gillingham, Dorset, have come up for letting.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has been instructed to market the detached office, showroom and storage premises.
Quoting rent for the 4,301 sq ft (399.55 sq m) property is £25,000 per annum on a new two-year lease.
However, it may be possible for the premises at Peacemarsh to be split into smaller accommodation.
Myddelton & Major Commercial Agency Surveyor Gary Mead said: “The property comprises a detached industrial unit/warehouse of concrete frame construction with part block elevations beneath a pitched roof.
“Internally the accommodation has been adapted throughout the years and now comprises flexible office, showroom and storage space.
“The building sits on a landscaped plot of approximately 0.52 acres (0.213 ha), which provides parking for in excess of 30 cars and outside storage.”
The property is situated on the northern fringes of the town in a prominent position fronting the B3092, with the town centre approximately one mile to the south.
Gillingham is a busy and growing north Dorset market town with a population of approximately 11,750, midway between Shaftesbury and Sherborne and four miles from the A303 at Mere, linking to Exeter and the West Country and the M3/London.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2018 for the seventh year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
