In 1903 the independent firm of Myddelton & Major – Salisbury chartered surveyors and estate agents – was established in offices in the High Street. Well over a century later the company is still headquartered at 49 High Street, close to the 13th Century gateway to Salisbury’s Cathedral Close.

By Car

The Myddelton & Major postcode for SatNav or Google Directions is SP1 2PD.

Salisbury is around 90 minutes’ drive from London, 50 minutes’ from Southampton and an hour from Bath.

From London follow the M3 west and connect to the A303 after Basingstoke, then watch for signposts to Salisbury.

From Southampton follow the M27, connect to the A36 heading in the Bristol direction.

From Bath head south on the A36.

Parking

Salisbury is well supplied with a total of five free Salisbury Reds Park & Ride services, with frequent buses into the city centre. If you’re visiting from out of town we recommend these.

There are several car parks in Salisbury run by Wiltshire Council, which have time restrictions and generally charge per hour on a pay and display system.

The closest car park to our offices is a multi-storey at the Old George Mall Shopping Centre, New Street, SP1 2PH.

By Train

Salisbury is well connected by train.

There are direct services from London Waterloo, Exeter, Basingstoke, Andover, Cardiff, Bath, Southampton, Bristol and Portsmouth.

The railway station is about a 10 minute walk from our offices, down Fisherton Street into the town centre.

By Bus

The Salisbury Reds local bus service operates many routes into Salisbury City Centre with connections from Bournemouth, Southampton, Andover, Warminster and Blandford Forum.
