Care firm’s new city base
A company providing care for elderly people in their own homes has taken space in central Salisbury.
Altogether Care LLP has moved into 91 Castle Street in a deal brokered by property consultancy Myddelton & Major.
Quoting rent for the lock-up shop with open plan retail area of 341 sq ft (31.68 sq m) was £8,750 per annum and the Weymouth-based firm has agreed a new six-year lease.
Myddelton & Major Surveyor Gary Mead said: “Altogether Care provides a Care at Home service which enables people to remain in their homes with regular support for everyday tasks.
“This can be in the form of flexible day care assistance, getting out and about, help throughout the night or domestic support.
“I was pleased to facilitate this letting, giving Altogether Care a centrally located city base, which also provides further evidence of the ongoing confidence in the retail/office sector in the city centre with strong demand continuing for similar properties.”
“Castle Street is a popular area with a strong footfall. It is a mixed retail street, housing a number of estate agents, financial service providers and shops.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2018 for the seventh year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
