Ringing the changes at High Street shop
A listed city centre shop in Salisbury is now home to an expanding mobile phone accessories company.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the letting of the retail unit at 40 High Street on a new 10-year lease.
Myddelton & Major Partner Simon Lee said: “This unit has a prominent trading position in the prime pedestrianised section of the High Street and we’re pleased to have let it to Century 21 Mobiles Ltd to help facilitate their expansion.
“The shop is almost opposite the entrance to the Old George Mall Shopping Centre and near neighbours include Waterstones, Café Rouge, New Look and Boston Tea Party.
The attractive period timber frame unit is Grade II Listed and has been refurbished. It offers a ground floor shop with a net sales area of 626 sq ft (58.15 sq m) plus ancillary accommodation on the first and second floors.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2018 for the seventh year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
