Tasty new business moves in to High Street
A new deli and café is now open for business in Shaftesbury High Street.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the letting of a shop in the heart of the High Street having been offered on a new 10-year lease at a rent of £12,000 per annum.
Myddelton & Major Partner Simon Lee said: “We are delighted this attractive retail unit with a net sales area of 343 sq ft is now home to The Shaftesbury Deli, which has brought a delicious new flavour to the High Street and is an important addition to the Town’s retail offer.”
“The new business is a delicatessen with an ancillary seating area offering shoppers an opportunity to sample the fresh produce with a cosy spot for tea, coffee, cakes and savouries.”
The deli is in a prominent position near a host of other independent shops as well as M&Co, Boots, WH Smith and Superdrug in the Saxon hilltop town.
It prides itself on supporting local producers and using local suppliers while offering an individual deli shop experience and keeping the community feeling alive.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2019 for the eighth year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
